i love photography's ability to allow others a glimpse into the way i see the world, and enjoy focusing on the bits people might miss. i tend toward black and white, for one is given the chance to notice details--texture, line or light--that are often hidden by colour. yet, sometimes colour is the element that reveals. either way, i appreciate the suspended reality attained through 35mm film.
these sixteen photos are from my recent adventures through ireland, england & scotland. they represent that breath when you reach the top of a hill and look out, that pause when you round a curve, open a door -- they are moments, small pieces of stories that happened along the way.
